Let’s take an NFL example here.
The San Francisco 49ers are -5.5 points at 1.9 on the spread against the Seattle Seahawks before the game gets underway.
Yes, before.
But if the 49ers go seven points up after seven minutes, the bookmakers will understandably adjust that line. They may adjust it to -13.5 at 1.9 after the 49ers take that lead in live betting.
